The first literature forum of the year 2012 will take place on Saturday, 28.01.2012 at the Goethe Institut Library starting from 10:00a.m to 1:00p.m.
Click on the link below to access some of the writing to be discussed on that day.
This is a space to listen to the voices of established and budding female writers…voices of women with a passion for the pen.
It gives all women, heard and unheard…a chance to travel with the world into their most inner of thoughts…tell them things they have never had a chance to say before.
It is a space to give these women audience…to love their work and critic it, to sit down over a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy the art of the hand and the pen..But most importantly to give an ear to these ignored voices.
Amka holds it monthly readings every last Saturday of the month, currently at the Goethe Institut ( German Cultural Center- Nairobi)
Men and women–all are welcome to attend.
P.S: the ultimate goal of these readings is to publish books out of the literary work presented.
